OK, thanks for information about retirement.
Nice... but the most important question remained unanswered.
What is present/future for the people who reach above +35lvl?
If the changes/patch/restart hit only those, who are often passed to the next generations, then... Houston, we have a problem .
Cus then the whole urban legend about equal opportunities and fight/offensive against grinders out the window...

All heirlooms were removed for now (there are no heirlooms in game, you are not the only one who lost them).

Once chadz finishes the coding, you will receive a number of heirloom points based on your current generation (number = generation-1) that you can spend to improve items, just like you chose an item when retiring.

For example, if you are now gen 4, you get 3 heirloom points. You can spend them as you want, either get one masterwork or 3 tempered, etc.

@ Liveon
Level 35 is ~150 million xp. With the new cap at 1450 xp it would take like 6 months reaching it, and all you get would be 4 extra attributes/skillpoints compared to a level 31. That's just a slight advantage, hardly gamebreaking.

That's because the items dissapear after logout.

That's because you can still retire now. If you retired AFTER the heirloom theft, you can still have an heirloomed piece of equipment.
Should be impossible to find a 2 or more times heirloomed weapon now.

The problem is even if you are number 1 in NA you are still only number 467 in EU or the worst in AUS(number 17)

You don't understand me.
I'm asking for those ,who already now (!) have over 35 lvl?
And absolute truth, this level(+35) is (almost) unattainable, as he wrote-and this is the real problem, and is not to equate( by the playtime for the game {under the current rules})...

PS Definitely, most players are planning build to level 30(not 31-this is automatic retirement time), and this is a huge difference (compared to 35 and higher lvl's).
Maybe for example:

HA 30lvl

str:15
agi:24

riding:6
PD:5
horse archery:4
WM:8
archery:172

HA 35lvl

str:15
agi:30(!!!)
riding:6
horse archery 5!!!(this is + 6 agi!-anyone, who has ever had so, he knows what a huge difference)
PD :5
archery 172(!!!)
1h: 125(!!!)
WM: 10(!!!)

Maybe those who are most happy with the changes?
LOL...
Do you think it was a big problem for Keshian?
And even for me:D?
And the entire mass of people who are over gen 30?

Count yourself ... This lasted for a one week or 1 month.
Incredible, i know, but true.

I'm now gen 22, pre-patch  gen 45.

during the weekend I was able to do two generations 8-)
Perhaps like Kesh is a few, but like me ...
Now, count- how long(before the patch) it would take me to do lvl 35, ROTFL.
