Xp cap is 1450 so anyone gen 16 or over gets the same xp no matter what.  I actually don't plan on retiring anymore myself, its too long a grind to 31 now.


To the other person with the friend with 2 million more xp who started with 1 more gen, you might want to ask him if he is now the same gen as you?  He likely gets 2 million more xp but loses 1 more gen.

But he didn't put back the 10% per gen ?

And i don't understand this one too : people say that they went from gen 91 to 31. That mean 30 % and not :

Nope he's still gen 6 and I'm still gen 5. Neither of us lost one. He just gained a load of xp for some reason.

What are you talking about? Only heirlooms are reset, there will be a screen of some kind where you can heirloom your weapons again without retiring. Just like last time, I think the message this time will be:
' Noes! Donkey chadz lost your heirlooms while moving your caravan! But using the golden coins he crapped out of his arse, you can buy an x amount of new ones!'

Heirlooms are being reduced again, and i don't have the will to grind again in this game. If i can logon with my character from time to time and play, that's ok, if i can't and have to rebuild some lost heirlooms, it's not, i don't want to grind 3 times on the same game and the same character.

Yeh, it could have been worse I figure.  Went from gen 91 to 31, but it seems fair based on a 3% bonus only never would have retired as often.

Imagine you only got 1.03x xp at gen 2 instead of 1.1x and 1.06 at gen 3 instead of 1.20x, so if from when you satrted you only got the 3% xp bonus how many times would you really have been able to retire?  So the lower your gen, the less you are hurt as the difference is less.  The higher the gen the higer percentage of gens you lost because your xp was so different, so i lost 67% of my generations, while someone gen 5 might still be gen 5.

I'm gen 4 and still gen 4, no difference here. Disappointed, though. At first I thought it said x.10 was returned and recalculated for when x.03 was implemented to REDUCE grind.

You still get to keep all your heir loom points for redistribution right? So you still have an armory of leet stuff, not to shabby.

I lost 67% of my heirlooms.  Most low gens are roughly the same number with respec or lost 1-2, so while its nice to have heirlooms I lost both a much higher absolute number and relative percentage of heirlooms.  Honestly its rather fair theft overall where the higher your generation the more you lose.

got 1 question....im gen 3 atm, im prolly gonna reach lvl 31 today( only 200 k left)  when i retire am i still gen 3? or do i reach gen 4?
