Really? When you were able to block while kicking, or back in native when you could make roundhouse kicks?

Keep kicks like in native, just remove the ability to block and you'll have a mechanic that has its uses against certain playstyles while not being easily spam-able.

kicking is easy once you get your head around it. It is easy to predict and easy to avoid. I agree with Gurnisson that blocking while kicking is abusive. Other than that, it is a perfectly balanced mechanic that few people use.

PS: protip: to avoid looking like a retard to the whole community, punch a wall or have a furious wank before posting.

If a guy is back pedelling in a straight line chances are he is going to kick you. Prepare to move to the side or jump over the kick. It's incredibly easy to read kicks.

But it's not that easy to dodge if you're used to normal warband mechanics. Everytime I get kicked in cRPG, I would have avoided it if it was unchanged.

Yes, kicking was an art, now it's not. But i think it's ok that it is easier so that you can use it more often/ more players can kick. But the angle of kicks is just ridicolous..you can kick to your right and the guy before you gets kicked. This needs to get fixed..

I wish I could see the full hitbox of the kick, because I like to step in when I feel like I've dodged it. On my screen, I get kicked after the foot clearly missed on my screen and when I decide to step in for the strike. I think a lot of the rage comes from the ghost hitbox that you can't even see.

Also, getting kicked after you hit the guy and the kick still goes through is dumb.

Kicks can almost always be avoided with proper footwork.
