Halp me please. Retrieving Characters?

So my anti-malware program deleted some component of crpg or mount and blade warband just now. I get an error when i try to boot up crpg using the copy i installed with steam. Im reinstalling mbw and crpg now. Will I be able to retrieve my characters ? I have several and one that is gen 2 so im really hoping i can.

Any help appreciated
