Homophobic slurs, racism, rape, AIDS, and plenty of other terribly unfunny things are used jokingly on the internet. I applaud your attempt to curtail such things within the CRPG community, but that's like trying to stop a flood with a hand towel. +1 for your effort.

The other cases you present are kind of flimsy. Those admins are just laying it straight to the players that asked them about their bans. They aren't being sassy or abusing their powers.
