I know that Deserters and Mercs play strat, but you play as one faction, so I don`t think you need more members.

And you Byz guys, don`t even play strat... I don`t get it.

The only  problem with big clans is that it stops C-rpg being competitive. Not at a big level I mean just between the clans. All you see now on eu1 is Byz vs Mercs and as for tournaments there has only been 1 clan torny since I started playing this.

Well, Panos isn't that far off the truth. There used to be way more little clans which made the whole community a lot more interesting.

My guess is that the multiplier xp we have now kinda works against a high number of smaller clans. "Let's just all group up and roll x5 all day" is the common mindset today. It was different with the proximity xp. There it didn't matter that much...

Banner with high numbers is way more important these days.

Here Panos,full byzantium member list. 65 people,~10 people are core and play at least once a week,10 more play at least once a month,rest of the clannies probably will never come back to game. Rest of the "members" in byzantium are alts or stf characters. I have ~5 alts.
