You think you're pretty smart with your dago mustache and your greasy hair.

Too bad it's buggy as hell. I can finish it but I'll wait till I get more gold.

What there is a end to that game?!  :?
A lot of people in the NA community know that Dach rages and in the process of his uncontrollable rage, he tends to kick people.

After which you get sent back. You get to keep your skills and inventory, but you lose all your buildings and stockpiles. I don't really see why you'd ever want to do it.
Don't.

I tried archery.
And i hate it.

It's just so long, having to go in round to pick up back your arrows, doing 0-2 damage mostly.
Bashing people up with the spear seems way more effective.

Same with throwing, it seems useless.

Anyone tried to up thoses skills to use them, and not just to up talent ?

One thing I hate is that monsters don't despawn. Whenever I decide to sleep, and sleep through the night in my shelter, the moment I step a foot outside, there's just a gang of monsters waiting for me. Perhaps they're not close, but after a few days it just gets insane. 20+ monsters on my screen is just not fun.

You get points for that, that's the "end game". I still enjoy building stuff, won't press rescue button any time soon.

Well, I'm OP atm and 20 monsters isn't an issue for me.

Throwing is my safeguard... I throw rock at shark from the shore or I throw rock at everything else from the sea.

Ammo are so easy to make. Sandstone, rock, stones, etc.

I managed to die in the end. Had like 2 HP and wanted to heal a bit so I ate Offal

Basically killed myself, because I could escape to the sea. Was great in everything and also had a ton of treasure. Was playing this session for a whole week...

How could you die ?

I mean, starting a point, you're just too strong for the current monsters.
And you always have a poor bandage
(click to show/hide)
in case you unluckily get bleeding.

Then again, i'm really staying in the same zone, mining big tunnels in the cavern while looking for limestones/talc/iron.
Funny thing is i can't even drink all the while, since when my hunger is full, it actually gives me malus everything ("you're overeating"). Can't craft my stone wall :(

I wasn't bleeding, was just careless and went against way too many monsters in a row using just my bare hands (attack rating 8). Few of them got lucky and chopped good portion of my HP (I think it was critical strike) and I was low and wanted to flee (was very agile too) but decided to eat something to heal a bit. Too bad I made dumbest move possible and ate Offal (minus HP) and died because of it

Next day started from scratch, made good progress and wanted to save and quit and instead pressed remove this game from memory

Regardless of that, I started fresh new game and I'm almost at strong level. I'm kinda addicted to this game.

Badly want full 3D version of this with fancy graphics, dynamic story and partial simulation of the world (terrain deformation, fuil physics and other fancy stuff) and multiplayer. My dream game

I've made a pirate fortress at the sea, connected with wooden bridge.

Every now and then, i'll come back to this game. It's really refreshing.
With the update, there's more items and the possibility to dump them in the water.

I'm continuing my terraforming. Already got a nice pool north-east, inside my "in-construction" fortress.
And once in a while, i'll go outside, fight a bunch of monsters, and come back in.

Having more fun building things up, digging up sand out (making water), and building a sand bridge north, than fighting monsters.

I'm even thinking of starting a monster ZOO ! (except damn critters, moving twice, jumping above wall, and ghosts)

The idea, putting trees around, then chopping them off till all leaves are off (you can see through them). Then luring monsters in it, and closing with a wooden door or a tree. Hard part would be closing behind them, except if i stay inside, and circle around, closing both entrance in one go. I'll have to go fully iron equipped, in case trouble happens.
For sea, putting sand all around, keeping a deep water or water. Then throwing rotten meat, meat, offals or watever, till a shark or a fish appears. Already happened, but i killed it. Damn frenzy.

We're not playing in the same league !

That's some insane amount of work though. Can't find a good word to transmit my feeling about it. "Nice" doesn't cover it.

It's the only game I've been playing for past 20 days. Couple of hours a day on average, sometimes more (split into two hour session). I'm not done yet but it's fun as it was a week ago.

It can't be seen in the screenshot because I had to zoom out webpage directly in Chrome (which messed up fonts as well), but I'm able to carry 269 kg(or lbs) of weight. Makes everything much easier.
