This thread is half nerds that don't understand how the game should be played (A.K.A Bale, Kesh, BoneSaw, Lasko), and people who think what I did was a good thing. Reality is to those of you who are raging nerds is that you trusted me with your goods, i betrayed you, thats how it works. Now, you (Kesh) can try and get me banned off every TeamSpeak server you want, you won't be able to. Try and hunt me down on the strat map, i like a little competition. Try and get the devs to take the stuff i traded for away, they won't.

For those of you who are wondering what exactly i gave to LL:

Around 2100 shiny armored troops
400,000 strat gold
FCC's #1 hit-list spot
Ownership of Nova Tahlberl

Everyone can expect some good XP to come from this!

EDIT: This hasen't been on my agenda for too long, past few weeks at most. So don't beat yourself Bale ;)

I have to say that I respect this boldness and fully expect it to happen to other clans who are only concerned with amassing as many people as they can, regardless of trust issues. It's all about standards, and when you're FCC and have none, then this kind of issue is bound to happen. May this serve as a lesson to all of us.

Pretty shitty stabbing mates in the back for gold n looms.

The funny part is he isnt even that bright - he loses access to a hundred looms and gains 2 and now has a reputation of sommeone never to be trusted and blacklisted froma  number of battle rosters.  Heard from members of HOC and MB and Semenstorm after he left each of those factions that they wouldn't take him back.  Kind of curious what clan is so low in the gutter as to accept a guy like saxton after this?

Saxton has indisputably earned his Bridgeburner tags.
You think you're pretty smart with your dago mustache and your greasy hair.

Honestly I can see allied factions doing stuff like that and I perfectly agree that is part of the game, this should and does happen all the time. But having someone join a clan for the purpose to rob them, that should be against the rules. I would think clan leaders no matter the hate they have for the enemy would not allow shit like that to happen.

I know if someone comes to our clan to sell out his own faction by robbing them blind we will go to that clans leadership and let them know about it.

We need to police ourselves or that is what strat is going to come down to.. The dicks of the world taking because they can, and have no consequence for their actions. He will likely just change his name have a new slate. But congratulating him and being happy will last only so long till the game is full of people who are using it to get rich quick and ruining the time and energy the people who want to play it put in.

This guy struck me as odd. We attacked him when he came S&D raiding in our territory then immediately joined FCC afterwards and got very uppity in private messages when we told him to stay out.

I actually have no real problem with what Saxton did. Granted, its not honorable or whatever, but it is part of the game. Maybe its because I have played other games where this kind of backstabbing is normal, but it is the risk you take when individuals control fiefs. It's happened in strat, albeit in different forms, before and it will happen again. Most of the community now knows not to trust him and I guess that's worth some looms to him, which seems like an unimpressive haul to me but whatever.

No matter how long you guys cry - I will not give in to dumbing strategus down because some people just want battles. If all you want are battles, then play cRPG, not strat. There are other people who like advanced gameplay.
