About Defend the Village and its value

Defend the Village is probably the best thing CRPG has given us after CRPG itself. Never has one seen such teamwork among all players... Seeing the best players of all clans fighting side by side for the better good of everyone in the sense of exp and gold.

Sure defend the village may be considered too easy and that it gives too much money and gold but so what? CRPG is dull with so much leveling up and the monotonous everyday weapons.. Now that heirlooms are weakened... Whats the bonus then for retiring?

Let us have Defend the Village back on regular servers.. Lets us gain that massive gold... Lets us gain that exp... Everyone likes Defend the Village and what it brings.... Grinders will always be better regardless of Battle server or siege or defend the village servers.

Also defend the village could do with a dozen more levels... Even harder levels that is... If possible.. Maybe more NPC's... But have them spawn separately to avoid the compressed space lag... Or maybe make the NPC's spawn over and over again... Have 200 peasants spawning in waves of 50... etc...

Well, I finally had 15 or 20 minutes to try it (I was lucky, there was a free slot on the server), and that's quite awesome. Thanks for that, can't wait to see a more "finished" version of it.

As in balancing or expanding it? Because it could definitely become the most played game mode if expanded and if it gets several more levels.

well, it's hard to keep a place against engineer for example, you can always try to hold, but they are still advancing...

As you said i believe it's a nice mod for teamwork (which is strange because it should be like this on all servers).
I'm not worried, I think something good will come out of the work of the dev team  :D

I agree this game mode is a stroke of genius. So good I actually wouldn't give a shit if it didn't give xp or gold. I would still play it. It has a friendlier atmosphere due to everyone being on the same team.

Never play it, but I guess shield + 1h has more value than 2h, bots got dead on aim with bow, and with 0 ping it will be hard to manual block. People who lack agility  can't out swing bots and get kill.

BTW is it safe to play? I heard people accounts get frozen due to xp bug?

I couldn't agree more. Thank you devs for all the work you put into this game mode. From reading all the discussions on IRC, I know you have put a lot of effort and testing into it. Can't wait to see it further developed!

It's fun for a while but it becomes pretty stale, it will definately be alot of fun when more work is done to it.
