I think that's the Taleworlds serial check server. It's usually fixed after a couple of minutes. Sometimes more.

Then it's probably your network, EU1-3 are running on the old machine (Hetzner).

Ok, if the in-game server list ping is anything to go by the four mentioned servers are all more or less the same and equally unstable across the board. Good to have more to work with now. Will try changing my ISP again, though it made no difference last time. Perhaps it's even my mainboard that is getting tired, but then again I don't have any problems when running for example speedtests.

edit: could it have anything to do with ports and portforwarding or some such, I'm really running out of ideas?

I'm pretty sure double XP works on all servers right now. It's enabled automatically once eu_double_xp is above 200 players. Can anyone check?

Was able to shirk my responsibilities to get in an hour or two of double xp (on my alt) and no double xp on NA1...will give the EU double xp server a try and see if that's still double xp (crossing fingers).  But if it is, it will just be a horrible grind...playing with 25 ping is not even comparable to 150

Why does your movie look like trippin on acid?  Does high FOV do that?

high fov (at least for me on my 4:3 monitors) makes me look fish-eyed, it's hard as shit to try and get used to.  I imagine on widescreen monitors higher fov would be more beneficial

I use  WSE2 with 100% large view..... pretty good to see cav on sides....
