This is a notice to all neutral or friendly clans traveling within our lands:

If you are inside our territory, do not attack anybody without talking to Fimbulvetr leadership first. If its somebody who we are clearly at war with, then by all means attack at your discretion. But neutral parties trading or otherwise just traveling through are under our protection. If you wish to remain neutral or friendly with us, you will respect our sovereignty.

Signed.

I personally consider any attacks on neutral parties within our lands to be an act of war, and a failure to respect our rights as a sovereign faction.

The church does not recognize this notice and hereby excommunicates all of Raven for its xenophobia.
The church, while still not recognizing the notice, now recognizes Raven as a sovereign nation.

Signed,

Jesus Christ

"As you gaze upon the cross, and long for conformity to him, be not weary or fearful because you cannot express in words what you seek. Ask him to plant the cross in your heart. Believe in him, the crucified and now living one, to dwell within you, and breathe his own mind there."

Thats something we dont have a lot EU side, except in free trade area. Attacks inside another faction area I mean. Most of the time we dont care, except if one is a friend and we support him, if one is an enemy we try to kill him off if he wins the battle; then its only a skirmish and no war will start from it.
Sounds like a realistic rule to follow but what is the advantage on the gaming perspective ?

The only thing that has changed is this: when passage is granted through our lands, it implies a promise of some degree of safety. While we can not promise that we would be able to reinforce (although I'm quite certain we would be willing, there's no telling if we would have the resources immediately available and prepared) the attacked party, we would surely engage in hostilities upon the transgressor after the event. We aren't keen on refusing passage through our territory for people with benign intentions, either.

What we would like to avoid is our homefront being turned into a battleground, unless we're the ones fighting on it.

We are working on our banners actually. A couple of us are constantly tweaking and making new ones. We still have not found one that all of us like and want to settle with. Let us know what you think in our faction hall thread when our next one is up (and working).

Sounds like a realistic rule to follow but what is the advantage on the gaming perspective ?

It reassures our trading partners, some of whom are at war with each other, that they can travel about our lands free from harm. We then benefit from the trade income. As for being realistic... Well I can speak for the Ravens when I say that we are all a bunch of RP loving nerds who love strategy games and history, so we try to emulate those.

For while the fire in the heart of a single Remnant still burns... can Stratia truly have fallen?

What if I attacked myself at your doorstep? Would you then reinforce me and also attack me? Would this break strat? All this and more on the news at 6.
