Who's "us"? The obvious trolls giggling like schoolgirls because their banners have anthropomorphic sperm and cuddly unicorns on it? What makes you think this is the "main" playerbase of crpg, and not a subset of 4chan/goon fanboys out to ruin the atmosphere of the game because it's "fun" to them, just like it's "fun" to ruin every other thing. Devs went through the trouble of setting up a system where people could have their own banners, they can very well choose what type of banner is acceptable.
They could just go back to a pre-approved list of appropriate banners like it was in the past and practically every other warband mod, then they wouldn't have to deal with retarded bronies and trolls trying to put the latest internet meme on a banner for shits and giggles.
