It's probably because all the banner slots are full, so they're going out and taking out the non-heraldic banners, as well as the ugly ones.  Can't say I agree with them removing the ATTS or FPF banners.  I do think they should remove some banners, but they should give people the option to change them (not just remove their slot).

I believe someone said before that there is a limited amount of banner slots, that was set by Taleworlds and cannot be changed.

Well, I'm glad that the devs took the time to fix some problem with the game. Siege is broken, siege equipment is broken, but thank god no one could have historically inaccurate banners now. Now everyone can have fun playing the game their way.

Alot of banners got purged today, the first time the devs have actually looked at the banners in months.

People forget banners are supposed to be something you would see on a medieval battlefield flag or crest.  I think the fist and fish could be modified and be appropriate.

If that's the case, then why wasn't the living shit purged out of the merc banner?
