I think this is a worthy change. Another thing that could potentially, and probably will happen, is if a number is rolled and it is equally distant between two entries. (ex. Y has #500, Z has #504, the prize roll is 502). Then we'll have conflicting winners and I'm not really sure how to deal with that.

Any objections to this change?

As the guy who chose 999 without thinking, I fully support rerolls.

So for the sake of fairness I'm taking San's suggestion and making the prizes match with the EXACT number instead of the closest number. Sorry for those who chose numbers with a slight advantage relative to others, but this was meant to be more of a lottery than a competition.
