Risen server lost connection to database, while Legio are abusing so much!?

I demand justice. Remove connection to database from legio, too, then!

We are not abusing it,after some tests we decided to use only "field by the river" map when we are running DTV mode(arena is too easy, and in" battle on ice" bots get often stuck in trees), we do not allow players to camp in unreachable spots using siege shields ladders etc,i don't know why Risen Server got disconnected from database, but we clearly are not abusing anything.
And btw Legio server it's NOT a DTV SERVER ONLY , we often play battle mode, and we do not  run DTV mode when there aren't admins around.
We put 20 slots because some Irc adimns suggested Sharky to run DTV with 20 slots(and also because our server is quite small and sometimes  lag a lot with DTV mode). And btw when you see 22/20 slots used, it's because admins can enter  if the server is full, sometimes adims go in spec mode to see if anyone is using glitches.
If you wanna remove DTV mode it's fine by me, but we AREN'T ABUSING anything.
reading the posts of some ppl here seems that Legio are running DTV mode 24/24 LOL.
And by the way on field by the river it's not so easy to keep x5 all the times , it's quite hard to beat Engineers and hired blade waves.

Using the DTV mode atm is abuse to me. Using formations and crap like that makes sure you almost always win. Sexies and Engineers are the only hard waves. But not as hard as playing against good players.

Yeh so when DTV is at x5, its the same as x1,67 mutiplier in battle or siege mode. Not really worth it anymore for the xp  and gold, try playing that game mode for fun instead.

Defend the village is a great mode to play when you are new to the game. A friend of mine who's been playing for two days now really enjoyed it.

Yeah, this is why the Acre server has been constantly using the admin chat to explain to (the same....) players that we can't switch it to DTV because it's just a grindfest. I'd prefer not to ruin our server's reputation, or worse.

Halving the bonuses would be the better option, in my opinion.

Still, abusing a "fun" type of mode is.. well, weird.

Yoou need to half the bonuses not turn it to a third, otherwise, playing for fun will be difficult if the upkeep on your items eats you alive.

Hmm agree on the halving the xp part instead of one-third, but about repair costs: because you don't lose much you don't need to repair much in DTV, yet.

Because most rounds in DTV last 1-2 minutes, repair really isn't a problem, the chance for stuff to break is a lot lower then on battle/siege. XP/2 would be too much, I'd say make it XP/2.5, so you get x2 battle/siege xp at x5 in DTV (although XP/3 is fine too).

At x5 you gain x1.6667(xp/3). It's not the grinders who's there anymore. The gamemode's just jolly good fun, and I guess it shows.
