I agree with herkkutatti.
Later on if/when they add a chance to get infections and shit the simple surviving will become a lot more difficult as you'll need water purification tablets, antibiotics and stuff. And hopefully more zombies once they've fixed all the bugs with them.
Edit: Killboard doesn't really make any sense since shooting newspawns at the coast is a bit too easy

I died thanks to food poisoning. I thought eating rotten fruit can't be that bad. I ended up slowly getting sicker and sicker as I couldn't find any charcoal tablets until eventually I just passed out in the middle of the street 

Edit: Killboard doesn't really make any sense since shooting newspawns at the coast is a bit too easy 

The one in the mod only counted zombies killed. It just gave a good indication of who was surviving the longest.

And so it was done, my first run in the game. Couldn't find any bandages. Enjoyed it a lot, whacked bunch of zombies with my Fire Extinguisher +3 (pristine) that you can somewhat see on my back. Found few books, cool mask, rotten food, no water sources and dead people with their pants removed. I was already sick, starving and thirsty when I let one zombie get too close and slash me.
To honour all the dead I've looted, I decided to remove my own pants as well.

EDIT: Apparently I could've just used some of my clothing to fix myself some rags for bandages, but I was still sick, so... yeah. Would only push away the inevitable. The more you know thou.

I'm not really sure what you were expecting to see at this point.

Its not really a case of expecting, I've been sceptical for a good while now, but that doesn't change my disappointment. I guess I wanted the game to become something else, something less shallow. But apparently I am the only one, but each to thier own.

Phoenix joined us and went looking for the bandits, I also went looking for the bandits from the other direction... Phoenix says 'oh my god I see one of them!', I hear a bang, I'm dead haha. Some buddies and I were at a well and I tried drinking enough to puke on one of them. I succeeded but didn't realize I'd be sick for like hours afterwards and puking up food/starving and losing all my blood don't puke on friends

I always saw that as a list of players who don't know how to play the game. I have had some characters live for ages without ever killing a zombie.

Yeah but that can involve just not playing the game for a long period. For instance I had a character alive for 3 months because I didn't log in as I was in India. Came back and didn't realise it would have kept counting. I think zombie kills reflects more that you've at least been doing something.

Obviously I mean alive as in having playtime with the character without dying for a long time. If you play smart you never have to shoot zombies. If you have spent any time hunting players you know that it is the shooting of zombies that allows you to locate them easily and take them out, so naturally you avoid doing that yourself.
