Hello everyone

I'm not absolutely sure if this is against the rules or not, but I want to give away my account. I just reached level 31, 1st generation and with that have achieved what I was aiming at the last few days playing. The game is really a lot of fun, but I honestly don't have the time to put that much time and effort into an unfinished (yet good) game.
My character has a small collection of weapons (2h, bows, which shrunk to the half after the update) and two sets of armor (light, cheap/heavy, expensive). I also have several misc items such as ladders (middle, siege), construction site, construction material and siege shield.

If anyone is interested, you may post here. People I know from in-game are preferred. If you want to know any details, post here as well.

...anyway, account are CD key linked...to give your account you would need to give away your game...so am guessing you wont, or cant if you are a steam player...

Is that so? It's kind of hard to believe that all the servers get my cd-keys. That would be quite a big security hole, imo.

They don't get the cd-key, but they get a unique id that is tied to your cd-key. So yeah, you can't give away your account unless you give away your cd-key too.

How exactly were you going to "give" your account away? What were you going to actually give?


Your character is stored on a database which lists all players names that name would be changed to what you set.

I guess he was just thinking of giving away his login details. But yeah, it's not that simple.

As it has been pointed out, it apparently doesn't work in any way.
So I guess I can close this topic then.
