Well, from what I've been told, Vitamins decided he wanted to attack the village, and he attacked it.  I guess CHAOS wanted to play off of it and make a drama thread, but I don't think there was any real planning behind the attack, Vitamins just kind of did it.

Fortunately, it's my spring break so I get to go anyway.

Call me old fashioned, I wouldn't mind if anyone attacked any of our dudes/fiefs ever. When you start caring about who attacks you, who mercs for you, who doesn't, et cetera it's no longer a game you're playing for fun and the hell of it.

Really though, the main problem with strat 4 (IMO) is the map is too large

I DON'T THINK SO. I HAD NO PROBLEM SENDING YOU TO EU AND THEN GETTING OVER TO NEW ADA KALUN TO TAKE IT FROM YOU ALL IN LIKE THREE DAYS.

I don't mean travel time, I mean there's really no need for people to fight for territory, people only do it because it's a game and we'd never get to actually "play" if people just sat in their fiefs trying to be "bigger" than their neighbors.   We didn't have enough active people for the map when strat 4 came out, and we certainly don't now.

It's not like cRPG is dying...there's still a lot of people playing in the public servers, but strategus is an inactive wasteland
