IT'S ALL A TRAP

Chaos knows they stand a better chance provoking the FCC into helping BIRD clan, luring FCC away from its quick supply lines and reinforcements, THUS why they are attacking BIRD clan. If FCC comes to their aid, they have to funnel troops across two areas, or take a longer 3rd attack direction (I'm referring to the bridges in the Tundra and the one point of the river where you have to cross around to get to Bird clan fiefs). So, it was a smart move by Chaos if this is their real intention...but I'm just pointing it out because I wonder if any others really noticed the true reason for their attack.

Welp, considering the last war that CHAOS declared was a failed attempt at provocation against Teutonics, I would assume this is the same thing.

A failed attempt that lead to them losing all of their villages. Wait, that doesn't sound like a failed attempt.

You may as well throw in FIDLGB.

Why are you dragging me into this? We didn't attack Partyboy... girl.... Godk... Godqueen.

Once Vitamins (Vulture) wants to do something, it's not worth the energy it would take to talk him out of it.

Anytime you try to convince him that he should do something else you hear a "YOLO" as you see him go off to do it anyways.

Rhalzo's already in Chaos' cooler older brother clan, he's fine riding his motorcycle around in a leather jacket smoking cigarettes with GIRLS, our little treehouse isn't his speed anymore.

well you guys are either picking on the easiest possible prey in the land, or trying to provoke a war with someone else. One of those is just shamfur and the other seems to be over complicating things when you could just attack whoever it is directly.

I didn't say the war failed, but the attempt to provoke TAMDA into attacking you guys backfired, we actually ended up helping you.

Well, CHAOS and FIDLGB are allied, so any war CHAOS goes marching into I'm sure you'll follow, I apologize if I'm incorrect though.

A 30 member faction, according to the faction stats, has finally made their move against a faction that has only one member:

Quite, and with two slightly smaller factions at our side. Good thing we got that out of the way, we may have tried to get sympathy by claiming we were the underdog!

Also, I really don't get why canary bothers saying he wants an ideal war with equal sized parties and then attacks repeatedly only factions much  much smaller and weaker than his own - fallen after they were already being attacked by 4 other factions, teutons after they were already being attacked by 5 factions, BIRD clan a 1-man faction (25, 000 chaos troops against 2,000 BIRD clan).  Sigh, i guess the GODKING made many humans, but I guess he forgot to make some of them brave.

I don't think I have ever said directly that all I wanted was an "ideal war with equal sized parties". I know some people have mentioned that that's what they thought I wanted and was trying to do, by the actions Chaos has taken in declaring war prior to now. In reality what I wanted was to fight someone substantial who wasn't already deeply embroiled in another large war. It was unfortunate in the case of the Fallen, because of the other folks who were planning on declaring war right as we planned to. With the Teutonics, they'd been recently taking on the mostly-abandoned Frisian lands in the tundra and were at odds with them and the rest of the then TAMDA clans. There weren't major conflicts going on in the area and they weren't fighting any major wars when we engaged them. By the time we attacked them, the last real battle they'd fought was when they took Ismirala from the Frisians week before. Before that, it was over two months prior between them and KUTT.

Also, I hope you're not including FIDLGB and Republic of Mates when you list the number of factions attacking people, because that's kind of the way the cookie crumbles with us.

It's hard to play strat ideally, it's hard to keep your ideals when getting into it. That's why we've been dormant for such large stretches at a time. Well, I'm glad that's all over.

What's over, exactly? You take a neighboring one man clan fief with no army in it and then what?

Back to idleness? Or march against the Tundra?

With all the threads the north has made about defense, alliances, free trade, etc.. it's hard to know where exactly the north's stand is on this.

Although it seems some of you guys are hinting at a war.. personally I didn't think this had any impact, since it's not territory in the north.

I guess we'll see huh? Things are getting interesting.. 8-)

Does that mean you aren't going to defend them?
