The issue with gay marriage is not marriage itself, but the people doing it. It's not much of a slippery slope when gay marriage already hasn't been allowed for centuries and hetero marriage remains allowed.
To be honest I find homosexuality in animals puzzling. Almost all of their behaviour is focused on one thing, reproduction. I don't get how homosexuality is in there, you'd think they would just think it a waste of time and sperm.

Oh and to answer the question. This is the internet, gay and bundle of sticks are the most common insults. Everybody makes gay jokes, cause they are a blessing to us all, but I doubt there is much real homophobia. I don't count making jokes at the expense of gay people on the internet as homophobia. Maybe some less western clans have a little more problems with it.

The odd thing is animals enjoy sex as well. Despite being primitive, instinct driven beings, they still enjoy the old in-and-out.

I hate to rebuke you because I found that funny, but I don't recall anyone having had "my old friend" in their name. Also, I don't recall anyone really calling people my old friends other than the troll on partyboy when he got admin and calling ourselves my old friends.

there was a a whole fucking clan with a tag my old friend and we never recieved any abuse by the players on the contrary everybody just played allong and had fun while we spread the love and carnage in our lovely neon pink color

I think the problem arises when you try and force religious institutions to accept gay marriage. As long as churches and the like have the freedom to turn gay couples away if it goes against their beliefs then I'm fine with allowing gay marriage as there are plenty of other places to get married.

When has anyone ever tried forcing religious institutions to marry gay people? Marriage is a civil contract, due to a little thing called the separation of church and state. It is completely disconected from religion. However religious institutions are more than happy to pretend they still hold the monopoly on marriage and stick their noses where they don't belong, in political and governmental institutions. So you have it completely backwards.
