Best build and Class to learn Chambering.

Hey Guys,

While I got solid at this game there have always been 2 skills that I have never developed, kicking and chambering.  I am looking for the best class (2h, pole, 1 hand, whatever...) the best build and the best weapon to learn chambering.  Its a skill I always wanted to learn, but I always get caught up with just playing any suggestions?

The easiest build to learn chambers with is a heavy armor 2h build. The problem is that you aren't encouraged to learn how to use kicks and chambers while playing 2h because you don't need to be good at the game to top boards with it.

As for a weapon, get one of the greatswords or one of the bastard/long swords.

2h, fast weapon (bastard sword or something).

I'm not an expert at chambering, but I find this helps.

Using a slow weapon is really hard to chamber.
Facing against a fast weapon its hard to chamber as well.

EDIT:
When I asked in game how to be a 2h hero, and for some advice, this is the replies I got:

1. Never stop swinging
2. Block once and chamber everything else
3. Footwork and hilt-slash

Some of these might have been troll answers...but they actually helped!  Never stop swinging, and then you are forced to learn chamber.

Do it Wallace style. 39+ STR with 3agi, plate crutch and get a nice big war cleaver or something. you can survive lots of hits and if you don't learn to chamber you will get clubbed to death like a baby seal.

I find 2h the easiest to chamber with. It also has the benefit of having two ideal sideswing animations, making chambers from both sides useful (polearm left swing chambers are atrocious, and 1h right swing chambers aren't usually difficult to block).

As far as build goes, 21/18 is probably good. Enough IF that you can survive missing a few chambers, and enough ath to allow you to move into your chambers (if you don't do this, then sideswing chambers are very easy to block).

Chambering is a little different for each weapon class, so I'd suggest just learning with whatever you like using. However, chambering against 1h and 2h is easier than chambering against pole arms. Or fists.

1h/shielder imo, because if you fail chambering, you can block easily.

Just go to the duel server and ask somebody to train with you. Chambering is viable for every class and once learned can be used with any class. So it dsn't really matter which you choose to learn it. Dont try to practise it in the battle server to begin with though, just use the duel server.

That's good advice, you'll get the most practice.

WHen you want to try "real world" practice go to the seige server.  That way you don't have to wait what seems like an eternity to respawn and try again if you mess up a chamber.

I learned chamber with flamberge

In my opinion slow weapon are EXCELLENT to learn chamber... they are just not efficient with chambers!
So the new response to ranged ragers is not "get a shield", it is "learn to chamber ranged nub!"

I suggest using a greatsword of some sort and doing a lot of s keying. This should force your opponents to make it easy to land kicks against, but also provide a long and slow weapon that makes chamber attempts easier.

When he says train he means killing you for points.

I always had the impression that slower weapons had a larger chamber window, because their animation takes longer. But really just try it with any weapon on the duel server for a few hours.
