The Fallen Ones

I just wanted to make a simple thread outlining a few things so no one is surprised in the future.

.:Mission:.
This will be a community run server.  By that I mean almost all of the changes made to the server that change gameplay will be done by vote.  I will make a poll on the forum and let everyone have their say in how the server gets run.  Because of this server changes will not be overnight.

Beyond that this server is here for you to HAVE FUN on.

.:Rules:.
1. Don't be an idiot - 2. Don't be an idiot - 3. Don't be an idiot

This is very simple.  Play on the server to have fun.  If your fun includes ruining other players gameplay then you are breaking rules 1, 2, and 3.  Anyone caught trying to intentionally ruin another gamers gameplay will get the 3 strike rule. 1. Warn - 2. Kick - 3. Ban

Let me also warn you, if you get banned, I am one lazy mofo.  Appealing to me in a way that I will take time away from getting destroyed by plate wearing chargers while I try to snipe someone from across the map, is almost impossible.  You know the rules, they aren't hard to follow so don't pretend you are the victim or that you will change, because like I said, I am LAZY!.

If someone does manage to get me to do it, remember the server logs EVERYTHING!  If I get unlazy and look into your ban and see you were breaking rules 1, 2 and 3 then short of paying a month worth of server bills, you're likely never going to get unbanned.

.:Stats:.

The Fallen Ones server offers it's own set of stats for players on the server to allow them to keep track of their own progress as well as compare themselves to the people they play against.  The stats can be found here: http://www.thefallenones.com/cRPG/

We also offer you a dynamic forum signature that you can use to show off your stats to everyone.  You can add this by dropping this code into your signature: (Change yourname to the name you use on the server)

Nope, this server is not associated with any guilds or clans.  "The Fallen Ones" is a name that I have used for 10+ years in the gaming world, I also own thefallenones.com/thefallenones.net.

Who are the admins?
Well, me and chadz have admin, but don't go thinking chadz has the time to help you, he is far too important.  Other than that you're going to have to find out the hard way.

How do I report someone who is disrupting gameplay?
1. Use the Ban/Unban forum
2. PM me on here
3. Contact myself or ask if there is an admin in the IRC channel.

How do I donate?
As always donations are always MUCH appreciated to help alleviate the cost of the server but will never be required.  I do promise those to try to add a unique experience to the gameplay and have a lot of new ideas in the work that I think will help enrich this community.  PM me if you would like to know my address to make a donation.

Luv the server even if it is infested with goons (jk you all provide great fun as I slaughter you!  ) - is there a possibility of you getting some of the classic ATS maps in the rotation? They have some pretty good ones.

and If you need some more laid back admins Ive had some experience - I'm mostly on in the mornings when I noticed no admins are on ^.^

ATS maps ruin some good Native ones. I especially loved ruins how it used to be. I can also make custom maps and test them with my clan first if that's your flavor.

Perhaps you might want to update your OP?

I have admin on both ATS servers and Fallen_1. I can't tell you whih servers to play on, but it seems goons play on Fallen_1 more. Usually it is less populated, which is better IMO because you effect the out come far more since it has a lower pop, thus better chance at getting a higher multiplier. I would like however, to have goons totally dominate a server and fallen we can. It is also way laid back.

Since it's being lied about, it only further re-enforces that this is a goon server, but for whatever reason ya'll just won't come out and say it rather than try poorly to hide the fact.

Indeed.  Racism, bigotry, acting like a retard eating paint chips and vulgarity of every kind is not only welcomed, but endorsed by the goons and all SA members.     I doubt there will ever be a ban there unless it's just a personal one from someone the goons don't like.
