Did he quit because of the charge stat nerf, or the "I can't be a kiting horse crossbowmen that can deal damage while incurring little risk, while also using a shield when dismounted so I don't have to block either"?
Edit: To be fair, he could still do that if he used a hunting crossbow or 0 slot sword. Damn entitled HX.
I think he quit because the released a patch about that stuff 1 year AFTER he had been playing his class 20 gens. He found what he liked, and kept going with it, and then they made it utterly impossible to play what he liked.
Also, if you count arrows as a kiting HX, you have never played with arrows. He's probably the only HX who would rarely, if ever kite. But meh, him getting muted with the message: "You're a twat" finally made him go: "Fuck it, I'm done."
He adapted to all the nerfs, he was getting used to a buckler while still maintaining his loadout and trying new things. But then he made that post, got muted and said, "Enough is enough!" and has put all looms in armory and left. Even though everyone keeps trying to tell him not to.
