It should be unless you wear very heavy armour, I don't really think it is necessary to put any more points in wpf once you are above the minimum, I'd rather put it into my melee weapon.

No matter what your wpf, shields will lower your throwing fire speed. On the other hand, the throwing hold animation puts your sheild at a great angle to block projectiles coming dead-on or above your head.

Do some test runs on a skip the fun character until something clicks and feels right.

irl something shorted on the shuttle and laika overheated and died within a few hours of liftoff and for a brief while one could look up to the stars and see a light shooting across the sky that was actually a warm dog corpse slingshoting about the earth at thousands of miles per hour which was arguably humanity's greatest achievement so far
