1 slot 2h & polearms

The decision to make most of the short swords 0 slot in the last patch was a good one, in my opinion. It opened up the possibility for new builds/loadouts while simultaneously giving people an incentive to try out a lot of decent weapons that had previously been ignored.

I would like to propose that a similar change be considered for 2h and polearm weapons that fall within a specific set of criteria. Basically, any 2h with both a weapon length of under 100 cm as well as a weight of under 3kg should be 1 slot, while any polearm with both a weapon length of under 150 cm as well a weight of under 2kg should be 1 slot. The weapons that would become 1 slot with this change include:

Axe
Two Handed Axe
Battle Axe
Two Handed War Axe
Studded Warclub
Katana

Boar Spear
Spear

Furthermore, any existing weapons that already fall under these criteria (ie Mace, Staff, Quarterstaff, Shortened Spear, Military Fork) should, if necessary, receive minor stat increases to make them competitive and balanced with the weapons that would become 1 slot with this change.

these are too good weapons for that. especially  katana is a no for me

Make 1 slot a katana is suicide , but if we make a REAL nerf ... That's possible then  For example , a 34 damages katana should be realistic , and reduce the speed is necessary ...

But that's a really nice idea for all those items

Spear could definitely stand to be 1 slot. It lost polestagger, and it also lost the ability to rear horses due to a Warband change. Hasn't been compensated for either of these.

Spear is still a really good weapon, also this would mean that shielders would be able to use a 2 slot sheild, 1 slot 1h and a 1 slot spear. This does sound a bit too good.

Of course they can do this if they use a 0 slot 1h instead; which is perfectly fair.

Exactly. But Sparthion at least costs a few thousands more than a spear.

They can already do this with the 1 slot Military Fork which is the same length as the Spear, weighs .1 more, is slower, but does 1 more pierce damage; also the Shortened Spear which is, of course, shorter, faster (4 speed difference between Military Fork - Spear as well as Spear - Shortened Spear), .1 lighter and does 1 less thrust damage.

There's already some 1 slot 2h's, but they are listed in the 1h menu (since they are 1h/2h "bastard" weapons)
