Blackouts

Every now and then, my screen 'blacksout' for approximately 6 seconds, then the picture comes back! Anyone know what causes this please?

When does this problem comes? And did or do you repair your cRPG Launcher often enough? Check these things and write back, but I cannot imagine that it is bad for you if u start the game amd u are at "join Game" and 6secs the picture is away... Does the picture comes back every time after the 6 seconds?

Ok, I repair the game every other time I run the launcher. The game freezes in the middle of combat, screen freezes for 2 seconds, then goes black for 6 seconds thenthe picture comes back.....and I've usually been killed by someone. It SUCKS!!

Sounds like your graphics driver is crashing.

Do you get AMD driver have crashed message, it will only appear for a short time down in the hotbar. I had some problems with that in WSE2, but then I updated my driver etc. Did some troubleshooting.

Do you have an Nvidia graphic card ?

Yes I have Nvidia 9800gtx+ with the very latest drivers and lots of cooling systems. Ill read that thread though because today, not only does it freeze and go to black screen but then the game crashes completely!

If you got AMD and have Catalyst Control center, turn off powerplay.
