i guess with party all night long you imply, that devs would give us a heads up so we could go all out and just waist our stuff in an epic showdown right?

and yes that would be awesome =)

Its simply that we are too good. We go so far in getting military overweight, that we simply forget to fight.

But yea, i mean that we need a heads up and murder the shit out of our allies and ourselves in the last weeks :)

* I hear chadz thinking... If i were to troll, say i will reset strategus in a week, and then not do it it would be awesome...

that is pretty crazy. There's prolly like 1-2 fiefs in NA with that many troops and both are prolly preparing to attack someone.

I hope you have at least 10 k troops to be in attacking range of it

Yup, need 1/3 of troops inside to besiege it

Yer, that rule needs to be changed. I know there's already a thread about it, but i dont see any reason why a 1,600 man army shouldnt be able to attack anything it wants.

It should be something like a third, then 1/4 when you get 1000 men (so you can attack stupid 4000 garrisons), then once you get 1600 or over you can attack any number. Just to stop EU turtling the way it is.

I understood that this was the case only when attacking armies, but when you attack fief it doesnt matter how many troops you have, is it changed now?

I thought the same, but it only leaves population out, for the garrison in a fief the same rule applies.

what i still don't know for sure about the 1/3 rule if reinforcements to either attacker or defender would have any effect. Question is at what point in time a) attack itself b) after attacker reinforcement period or after c) defender reinforcement period this rule would apply. Depending on that you would be able to trick people into attacks or would be able to neglect the 1/3 rule soon enough.

Y not just pretend it's going to end within 2 weeks then have a sh*t load of battles now?

As said 30k men in one place?

Could make easily 12 full sized armies and have plenty left defending

Well the thing is, coalition grinded down greys in their town (uxkhal), and believe me, after 2 weeks of besieging, it gets annoying to be the attacker.
