I think to stop retiring anymore

Yes, it is really hard thing to do. It is like giving up smoking cigarette  :D  I had a reaason at the beginning of it but now, I have all +3 items I need and... My last reason was getting this char to gen 16 but it looks stupid anymore. My generation is 14 and at most, I can be only 35 lvl. So, it will not make that high difference as I expected, right? What are your thoughts about retirement and gen 16 limit?

Not retiring is boring. I have tried on several occasions and so far not been successful. My highest level character of all times is still level 31.

Though I am in somewhat same situation as you and I am nearly level 32 on my main for the first time. Wether or not I will do that for a long time is yet to be found out. But I don't expect a big difference between level 29 and 32.

Anyway you'll need a handful of fun alts if you want to try to make it to level 32+. Don't just use your STF, it is more fun and challenging.

Good luck, I'll try to let you know what I think of it when I reach 32.

Well Abay, if you found your "final" specc, go for it.

6 gens now I use the exact same build, I am going to level 32 with it now, especially to help with strategus. It is fun. No need to go for 35/36 instantly.

My suggestion is to have a lot of alts to play on a whim, and only stop retiring if you've fallen in love with a build and are dead certain without any doubt that you don't want to retire. Make the build "Nice" at level 30, and properly balanced at 33 with room to expand (Like adding IF or Riding or what have you, typically not adding attribute points but instead converting for a total of 3 skill points) at 34 and 35.

Just my suggestion, though...
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Actually I have found my lvl35 stats and created the way that I will walk. lvl 31, it will be 21/18 with no wm. And lvl 35 makes it 21/21. Actually its full shape would be at lvl36 but, u know

Heh, I am a full strength mauler, 35/3 at level 3. Leveling up is just a natural continuation. At 31 I go 36/3 and get an extra PS, at 32 I go 37/3 and have an extra IF, at 33...well, nothing, but at 34 I am 39/3 and get both an extra IF and PS.

It will be insane, mmmm.

omg, incoming Lu_Butan of na then  :P  Well, once, I tried 30/9(I am a 1h for more than 2 years btw), it is good but shield and athletic is really necessary for 1h. After I learned that 1h needs athletic, I started to give more agility. This leaded me to make more average builts. Then I realized that the best lvl 30 stats for 1h is 21/15(7if,7ps,5sh,5ath,5wm). But 5 shield is sometimes not enough if the server is crowd like 100 players. So, it must be at least 6 I think. My main reason for stopping retirement is giving more shield skill and athletic in the deep of my thoughts  :)

Anymore, I just go to lvl 32. I'm gen...40 something? It's nice once you're Gen 16 to aim for 32 everytime. There are some people who stop retiring. For me, I'd much rather have loom points because we're always adding new stuff to cRPG and my tastes for builds and weapons is changing as well.

Do yourself a favor, keep retiring. Once you hit Gen 16, start aiming at lvl 31 builds, not just lvl 30 builds. It will make it fun. You can do some really cool builds and still enjoy it--because think about it, you can either go 1-31 or 31-32, and 31-32 is nearly same xp as to 31, but without the peasant crap!
