And no, I don't think throwers are overpowered, they're just fine. Riding fast towards ranged adds damage to their shots to you iirc, so don't be surprised a HEADSHOT + speed bonus killed your horsey :)

I know speed ads dmg, but its 100x more logical that spear wolld kill horse hitting it at head with high speed, but it doesnt and some thrown rock with 100x less kinect power does.

The thing about throwers is, that the amount of players being throwers isnt very high which makes them kinda weak.

1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Throwing damage is the last of the ranged damage that needs to be nerfed.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

Throwing was balanced it seemed at some point. However they made it much more accurate. Sure the damage is fine (one shotting horses and people) but the accuracy should be at a level that reflects the extreme damage it does. Ive been hit by thowers at ranges archers couldnt hit me at, whereas back in the day there where many scenarios where i would be confident the thower could not or would not be able to hit me, with the accuracy basically no one can come anywhere near them now without being almost guaranteed to be killed.

And thats not even getting into the large ammo capacity and rate of fire/fireing on the run. So how do you kill someone you cant even come close to, even sheilders they do so much damage they 2 shot your sheild. Only archers can kill them or a gang of infantry (assuming the thrower isnt completely lacking in situational awareness), and even archers have a tough time given in my experience throwers have tons of IF/STR, ive couched throwers with a great lance and they survive more than plate crutchers do. Low damage -> high accuracy, high damage -> low accuracy imo, throwers shouldnt have both as well as the highest rate of fire, being able to shoot on the run which no one else can do, and having more or less infinite ammo as they can carry alot and easily manuever around and pickup the weapons they missed with.

Throwing is a one use weapon, while lances are not. Should they be? Maybe, that would certainly be more realistic.

The only real problem with throwing is the horrible internal balance for the class of weapons.

Not sure if that's trolling, but it still is partly true. When jousting the lances often splintered when hitting the opponents shield or chest armor. +1 for single use lances!  :P

And no, throwing is not OP.

Slowest missiles, least range, and what the fuck are you smoking with this "large ammo capacity" comment? Accurate? Sure, with enough wpf and practice practice practice while throwing at a beast that is 8 feet long and 5 feet tall, otherwise, no.
