Just an FYI, I'd say you guys attacked after 12 because NO nighttime setting before 12 could get a 8 AM start battle.

I would rather fight at 9-12 at night than 5-8am on a monday. a lot more people could stay up a couple hours than can wake up that early on a weekday methinks.

They attacked at 12:06 pm as soon as he got in range of the castle.  I was there when they initiated it.  Midnight, why a lot of people might have thought just before - but still infinitely better than 8 am where all the "jobless" (as arrowaine would put it) occitan and hospitallers can show up in force while we have to rely on mostly eu mercs since most of us actually work and need to go to work.
