And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

I'm what they call a face athlete. Being handsome is hard physical work, many people don't realize this.

Out of curiosity, is anybody in the forum an athlete of some form or fashion, or has been in the past? I've come across a good deal of football players (most linemen,) but that's about it. I've met quite a few Europeans who are involved or at least active in one sport or another, but not much else. The reason I had this on my mind was because I just got done with one of my track meets and wondered if anybody on here was doing the same thing.

nice dude!  track is the shit,  and you are doing the two most hurtful disciplines ^^

I ran 400m in our teams relay on a national level and later went on to doing 100/60m when I found my love for str training : )

what country/state are you from?

my latest athletic accomplishment is winning a beer chugging contest against Rob Schwartz during the london olympics ^^

In the past I was a member of the local waterpolo and volleyball team, also did judo.
These days it's just fitness and running outside.

I have a funny rowing story. I trained rowing as a kid for some time but then i quit. Anyway the school rowing championship race comes along ( Various schools in the city send their teams ) but by that time i havent rowed for a year, neither had my mates. So we decided to participate for shits and giggles and we managed to grab second place with no prior training or any preparation at all. We havent been in the water for a year, came there, got in the boat, got 2nd and left. They were all like: who the fuck are these guys?

(Mind you, most of the clubs are in close proximity and they know each other well)

Later our former coach invited us to train again but we were all like: Our work here is done dude adios.

Texas, United States of America. Yes, the 800m can be a bitch, and even the 400m can too.

As for everybody else I'm awed to see this many athletes, and amazed at the variety of sports all of you attend. I hope most of you keep up the good work and continue to live a healthy lifestyle.  :D

I used to play badminton competitively some years ago. On the tip of my "career" I was 13th on the Finland's ranking for my age group. Then came in the family issues, move to another city with a shitty possibilities to play badminton anymore, and my loss of interest to that sport.
Nowdays I'm snowboarding and skiing the winters, and running during summers.
