Because in Narfs pack he includes...

Brigadine over aketon without kneecops
Brigadine over aketon with kneecops
Brigadine over mail without kneecops
Brigadine over mail with kneecops
All of which are in three colours.

The most logical reason I could think of why the cRPG team didn't add all the variations of the armour is because of space. If you include every type of combo of armour you get you would get 12 peices of armour. EDIT: Actually looking at the pack there's multiple colours in the legs aswell so there's even more than 12.

It's only kneecops, yeah it looks cool but you don't really need them.

Now brigandines over aketon have  only one pair of boots and it doesn't look very well. If they added instead of that brigandine over aketon with kneecops it would look much better. Also i can't find nice helmet for it.
Helmets on picture looks different when you buy it and try it in game.

I think hes talking about how the Green Brigandine over Aketon in the picture uses the leggings from the Blue Brigandine over Mail instead of the normal non kneeplated leggings that the model uses ingame currently.

I don't think it's a problem per sae. The armour still looks nice. If you have such a problem, replace the textures client side

AFAIK, this is because with kneecops, the armor would only work with one set of leg armour that came with it. They were taken off/standartised to make the armor compatible with other footwear.

But it's not compatible, regardless.
The knees look detached from any kind of footwear but that one set, it's weird.
Kneecops would actually give knees more volume, making it easier to make combinations. And it looks way cooler than simple tights. The devs hate us.

How did three people manage to write kneecops?

I think having kneecops or having no kneecops is both historically accurate as history is not exclusively contained in pretty drawings someone made. I am pretty sure that there have been people who wore a brigandine and an aketon without kneecops.

However I do think the lower part of this armour is kinda annoying.

Which gives you a whopping grand total of 15 leg armour compared to 38 body armour. Which means you have medium armour body wise, but you get one shot by everyone and his mother as soon as they hit the legs. Buff the leg armour of the brigandines over aketon.
