Let's see.
So there is a bug. We all know that there were several cases of item multiplication in various clans. Strat is frozen. We do not know what is going to happen, whether the bug will be fixed, whether the multiplied items will be deleted, whether there will be a rollback or wipe.
We attacked the castle of Templars. Suddenly, out of the blue, we see this Templar crawling with 100.000 crates. 100.000!!!! Damn
Templar Treasure! Soooo, we have several options:
a)
Let him crawl away. But what if the bug is not fixed for a longer time? Or the multiplied items are not deleted? Should we let Templols walk away and use it... against us, a little bit later? (Does anyone really believe they would do it...?)
b)
Attack the guy. But he has 2300 troops... it is going to cost a lot of tickets and eq. Especially for a half-dead faction as GO. What if there will be a fix and multiplied items are deleted? What a waste of resources...
So, is it a gift from heavens or a curse?
Or maybe option c)? Try the luck, attack the guy, take some fun off the situation, and the battle itself (isn't that all about?) and show the world what we are doing and that Templols may not be all that saint? Ok, they reported the bug... Very good, but the 100.000 crates is still there and the issue is still standing.
Strat got unfrosen, the bug got (appartently) fixed and... the 100.000 crates is still there! No comments from devs...
So eventually we did take the precious Templars Treasure and not let them fight with it (BTW - why exactly were you going, Alpha, with these 2000 naked troops in the direction of Hoppster? Didn't you want to reinforce them with some extra eq you guys have? No? Oh, I'm sorry it is just my malicious mind playing tricks, hehehehehe. Besides, you were supposed to be inactive
).
That was a surprisingly cheap win, but the battle was fair. And fun. So, to be honest, screw you guys if you want to say we did something unreasonable here. Risky, but reasonable. And screw you if you want to say that we are the bad boys here, no matter how the facts look like...
