Latest "Watch Dogs" video.

This is a game i expect to be a "2013 videogame" not other shitclones , mainstream brainless games made to gather money fast and die after 2 or 3 months (insert huge list here).

"Open world" gameplay, yeah, right. Totally a scripted encounter.

looks nice
people are like potatoes, they come in different shapes and sizes and they all are beautifull
masturbating while looking in a mirror isnt wrong unless its the rear view mirror and you are driving a school buss.

it doesnt matter if you are happiest person or an unfortunate weeper, a powerfull beast or a terrifying creature. we are all equal, in the eyes of the reaper.

Yeah, "Pre-order now"...

I would wait for the game to come out and let other people test it. There's no reason to go all "OMG, thats teh best videa gamez ever shut up an take my money!".
It looks great though and the gameplay seems to be pretty unique. I'm still skeptical. My world war 2 PC won't be able to run it anyway...

IIRC a member of the cRPG community is actually involved with the development of this. Shall have to try and dig that up though.

Cool so we can hack horses.

Game looks promissing, but i hope they will not make it too repeating, as it was with Far Cry 3.

And i hope Ubisoft fixes the sounds, so far the assassins creed games and Far Cry 3 had really terrible low quality voices from npc's

In b4 yet another bland and empty sandbox game (you can see from a mile away that most of the preview is scripted).
Wouldn't mind being proven wrong, but I don't count on it.

Although I am most likely pretty alone with my opinion but here it is:

The last game that really was Open-World-Sandbox and deserved the title, imho, was Saints Row 3  :D

Really enjoyed Skyrim and Sleeping Dogs but not for their "Sandbox"...

A sandbox should allow nearly everything and that includes especially the silly things. Otherwise it's not a real sandbox in my book.

Saints Row 3 was a rather shit game in my book. You know what made the 2nd so special? The fact that it was a world that was basically serius and than you come along in your purple underpants shemale in a pimp hat and fuck shit up. In 3rd they went waaaay overboard with the goofiness. There is nothing fun or special about being silly when the entire world around you is also silly. And Skyrim really was way more sandboxy than SR. I just  belive they left the sillyparts to the modders to do, so it wouldnt ruin the experience for those looking for serius gameplay. Which is a good choice, cause the sillyiness isnt really everybodies cup of tea.

Saint's Row , Skyrim , Far Cry 3 etc are Open world/Freeroam games for me , you can't really do everything and Watch Dogs seems to be one of them with scripted events when  activated.
Terraria , Minecraft , Darkfall , Xsyon , Starbound are close to be real sandbox games but this don't mean that they are all fun for everyone (for me yes).

Watch Dogs will probably be like hitman where you have x amount of possibilities on doing the objectives.

From the looks of the video I'd actually say it's the opposite. You can freely roam around the map, but once you take an objective the path to finish it is heavily scripted.

Anyway, I hope I wasn't the only one a little put off by the fact that the guy basically rescues a random woman, takes great risks in order not to kill the criminal shooting blindly at him and the crowd and, when the cops finally arrive, starts mercilessly killing them.

Still looks like fun though.
