Ping from each state of America

Hello everyone,

As some of you may or may not be aware, PK wants to do a tour for cRPG at the end of the year. We would prefer to go to America, but it is variable based on ping/pricing etc etc.

So in this thread, I was wondering if anyone could post what ping they get and what city they are from on the NA_1 server, as it will help us decide which city/cities to go to.

This seems logistically... difficult. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.

Anyway I'm in New York City and my ping is in the low 40's.

Do you play on laptops? Will you just hit up internet cafes or something? Because I can tell you first hand, there are like 2 of those left in this city, and they will not get you the connection speeds you're looking for.

California. Have a few other friends that play here as well. Ping generally ranges from 70-85.

Washington State, 94 - 120, most likely because of the DSL + Wireless internet situation though.

I do believe the servers are hosted from or near Chicago - I am from Southern Illinois, I get 17-25 ping.

Southern Wisconsin and I get around 10-15 ping.  It goes down to 3 when I'm at my school which is ~20 minutes from me.  I wish I could get better ping.

Oregon, 40mbit up and 12ish down, get about 65-80 ping here.

Head to the states in the middle for the best ping. Ohio, Illinois, etc.
