I have to apologize for the "predetermined breakingpoints" part on the hilts, first time i looked at the texture outside of the game and they sure look like they are meant to be turned outwards, i think the bumpmap is making it look wrong or my eyes are screwed up

Anyhow, i made a submod for this submod.
Please be aware that this was about 15 minutes of work in contrast to hours and hours of work final boss put into this!
All credit goes to him and i will also remove the link if he asks me to.
For now this basically lowers the overall amount of yellow in the textures as in most gold is now silver and most bright wood is now slightly less bright.
There might be stuff that looks weird as i did not test this ingame yet.
Just put these into your cRPG/Textures folder and overwrite.
Sadly i do not know how he managed to get the spec maps half the size as i failed at it so these textures are about 1/3 larger in file size, sowwy

To get the original ones back just reinstall it or back up the 6 textures included in this file.
