Equal texturing skills.

I admire his work especially knowing the amount of work it is, just not the style i was hoping for.

I think we need to offer and discuss what we want from FinalBoss's work before he did it. It's the good time to voicing ours offers about throwing weapons. When the time of horses will come up, i will post here my vision of how i want it to be, cause i am horseman and i have champion rouncey )
Sorry for my english, i am russian-speaking.

Meow, I think what you described would be really hard to do, since just reeinforcing things and stuff won´t do the trick. It will work for Body armors(Although you would need to think a lot not to make it look cheap), but what´s with Weapons? What good could it do to reinforce, for example, a longsoerd?WOuldnt it just get heavier and worse balanced?I think so.And how would weapons in the "used" and such look get better over gens?A really old weapon gets WORSE, not better.

Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

Obviously you would not put two thick steel plates on a sword to make the weapon better.
You would get one of better quality.
You could change the color and detail of the metal, make the blade look sharper, make it look a bit polished but without adding all that fancy decorative stuff.
Why would i want my sword's handguard to be gold even if i try to imagine it's just gold coated it does not fit my view of a medieval battlefield.

For hafted weapons like axes/maces and polearms, reinforcing specific parts like the ones you would mostly try to block with or like he already did i.e to the German Poleaxe, reinforcing parts that would most likely have to withstand the most force on a successful hit would make sense and looks nice.

Just an example:
(click to show/hide)

Love the Long Maul, still like the German Poleaxe mostly, dislike the Great Long Axe in the middle because i see no point in carving and reducing the hilt diameter at multiple points (on both)
These things are made to endure really strong forces on impact and you would want them to be usable in combat as long as possible.

As i said before, don't get me wrong.
By now i am used to it and play with the pack and i will most likely just do slight adjustments to the textures for my personal taste.

For me it's just more into a WoW direction than the way this mod is aiming for which is why i was a bit disappointed.

Since no one is forced to use it there is no problem at all and and i will repeat i am looking forward to see the rest of it.

Keep up the good work.

It's almost an exact copy.

But seriously, the GLA is one of the few polearms that actually look like a masterpiece on level 4. Most of the others are just...bland.

Isn't working for me, when I try to run CRPGSubModsInstaller.exe it says "A device attached to the system is not functioning."

If you run M&B by Steam, when it asks you to locate your cRPG folder, press browse and locate your crpg file in your steam folder.

Thanks for just ignoring the point - WoW direction. Not saying the pic is not artistic and all, just shows the direction where it's going - shiny over fitting.
Also you do understand that this is a retexture submod, right?
Models were not changed, so if you are talking models here - take that pic you posted and apply the texture to any of the axes, in better quality obviously.
Guess how it will look.

If you find the GLA to look like a Masterpiece then i am happy for you and your liking for shiny decorative stuff, never said no one is supposed to use this, actually i remember saying that i do use this.
To each his own i guess.
Just trying to make my point that weapons used in battle are not supposed to look like something you put on your wall these days to look shiny.
