They got over 400 ping on EU/NA servers though. Not that nice to play Strat.

I don't know, I guess it would be possible to host Strat for them (the website stuff?) if they host a chinese server themselves?

Guessing that's what he means.  put up a china map for strat, they would have to host the server in China

If those number indeed represent the chinese community numbers, i'm surprise they haven't complained about it yet. I kind of wish it was possible for people on different continent to play with each other without such horrendous ping.

Hopefully, if they really desire to play strategus as well, chadz will be able to do something about it.

Having nosed about a bit, apparently they have complained about it, a lot. But the problem is that CN would, apparently, need an official server for this, then.

And since they don't have one I assume that donations are really bad coming from China? That's pretty bad if China player-base is so big and they don't even have an official server

I'm used to seeing them with 100-200 man parties...just passed one of them with 2k shiny troops. Be very afraid.

Not sure if that would be an adequate solution,
but having a third map included like mirrowed in the south of the EU or NA Map and then that map set up for an official assian server (russian, chinese, how about those in australia?) Again not sure whom to include there but those who are close together should have ok ping then and the time differrential also would be less of a problem?

hi!guys!im pigsy , one of the CHN servers administrator.
Our server is build on donation from players.This Server have been started for years,and proves how we love crpg.
CHN players love Strat,some of them used to play on EU or NAs servers.But..you know..ping is always a horrible problem.
we have been looking forward to set up our own Strategus for a long time.
