Bow bug??

Hey all...

My archer has 99 WPF in bows, and 9 Powerdraw.

I can't use any bow at all.. I have every bow except the nomad bow, and could use it pre-patch... Would this be a bug?
Also keeps saying "Proficiency with bows is too low." even when i own a hunting bow..

i've got 155 in archery and i havent got any problems about using bows...U might need more Wpf tho, cuz thats what it tells u!?

I hypothesise that it is my gear that isn't loading, seeing that I can pick up bows, just can't start with them.

Would you consider posting these requirements in the shop? And why does a hunting bow require more then 99 wpf?

Lol, its kinda ridiculous or lame, its one of the worst bows and u need more than 99 wpf? thats just BS

You misunderstand. Those are not item requirements, it just means you're a PD stacker or have way too much armor.

I never heard of that. WPF was never a requirement for using bow.. Only PD, isn't it ?!?

So, WPF would be a new requirement for bow with the new patch ? I doubt, otherwise it would be at least mention somewhere, or then they really messed up and forgot it.

How much wpf do you need to not have your powerdraw reduced, say for example 7 powerdraw with 138 wpf would that reduce my effective powerdraw or should I do 6 powerdraw with 148 wpf and have the same effective powerdraw under this new system??

Not really a powerdraw stacker, but this could remove any reason to go another set of 3 strengtha dn instead opt for 3 more agility, would appreciate some explanation of how stringent this wpf requirement is in diluting the benfits of powerdraw?

I'd really would like to clear this out, but then i would need to create a new char to check by myself, but i'm a bit lazy as others maybe too :p
I'm also curious, did anyone else than Black Wind got this problem ? Or is this only him ?
I'm currently using a fine war bow with 6PD and 151 wpf and it is just fine so far... Before that, a strong bow with 6PD and about 140 wpf was fine too.

Otherwise, here is a useful information for every archers who don't know this yet, here are some weapons which can be used 2H and only take 1 slot :
- Spiked Mace (2H based)
- Fighting Axe (1H based)
- Langes Messer (1H based) still impatient to try it as this weapon is still staying hidden/invisible after purchase..

If you guys know any other ones just let everyone know Or maybe let's create a topic about it.

There are actually a bunch of low-tier 1hers that take 0 slots so you can still have a warbow/longbow, 2 sets of ammo, and a melee weapon.  Some are pretty fast, but I think they are all under 50 length.

The main reason I want to know this is not for being able to use a bow, but for losing the benefit of an entire 1-2 points in powerdraw because my wpf wasn't high enough, thats 6 points in strength wasted.  Would appreciate a developer giving just some general numbers, are dedicated archers with 120+ wpf affected by this if they have 7 or 8 powerdraw??
