Pikeman build. Any suggestions?

I got 21/21 build. Works like a charm.

They nerfed turn rate. It works only against impatient nabs with reflexes of a sloth.

yep, just like broken shield forcefields, hiltslashing, lolstabbing, crappy projectile hit detection, horse bump warping, unbelievable terrible balanced maps, broken stat system, etc

Long poke weapons benefit more from agility then strength.  Do 21/21, 18/24, or 15/27 if you like those kind of pure builds.

Best NA pikeman is Slimpyman by FAR.

Think he uses 18/21 with a rondel dagger as a side weapon

i tried this in a duel (because of hill's tutorial video) and it actually is pretty awesome. You can just suprise them so hard by suddenly pulling a dagger and hitting them. however, im not sure how it would be in battle. i might try that

even if your one of the best pikemen in eu id say go more str 21-18 like gurni the reason is simple. every mofo is going to try to shoot or attack you first as your a piker and an "easy" target. that and when you get stunned from a block it usually results in a hit, but mostly i think 7ps is nice


thats just me last time i used a pike it was mw and i was 24-15. I didnt have many clan mates playing with me so most of the team used to abandon me when confronted by the byz blob so i need ps to try to hurt at least one with your clan mates and team work 15 str might work but you are one of the best players im sure you can work it out

i did this and it was awesome, i still need alot of practice when to draw my dagger, but it just looks so badass AND is lethal if you know how to chamber. and it doesnt look as gay as a quarter staff on your back

Anyway, forget the quarterstaff. Either no backup, a military fork or a flanged mace.

Been piker again for a while and using a +3 pike with 21/21 is a must. (lvl 32 build)

This way I am able to be very effective even when using a poleaxe or spear (I switch between corseque/poleaxe/long bardiche/pike too often) be it with light armor or medium.


Just remember muffin, looks > everything else. Quarterstaff is ugly. A simple sword might look good.
