Zanthos, do you switch out your armor and weapons fairly regularly? Since the message mentions being good with your armor and weapons, I'd assume its tied to the use of specific items. I'd like to know if Goretooth has gotten the message, since he tends to kill half the team each round and has worn the same loadout for the last few days.

Nope, I don't change items much on this build. I wore the same exact setup almost all night with exception for maybe 4 rounds in total where I went into heavy gear mode with a x5. Considering I played way too much... 4 rounds out of the total is not a lot.

One of our members got this message while he was simply running out of the spawn. He had changed his gear only slightly at times... but that was it. He said he didn't see a change in all of his items though only a couple. Still can't figure it out

I think 2 things of this:

1. The bonus is fake, and makes you think you have a bonus.
2. The bonus is real, but it's impossible to find out what the bonus is, thus, you can say you have a bonus, saying you are better in /things/.

Not sure how to explain it, but, it might be or not be the difference between 1 hit less to kill/to get killed.

TL;DR Live with it, and enjoy you have a bonus.

This is intruiging.. so keeping the same weapon / armor set makes it lighter, cheaper, better or something?  hopefully it wont take to long until we know for sure

I can not wait for strat', and I love the patch, and I respect the time you put into this mod, but seriously...

You keep dropping the same carrot when you talk about strat'. I look forward to it, but "soon" may as well be Meow time for all we know.

Then, if I had a really cheap clothes on me, is there any sense for me to wear it? it was blue tunic, Tempered Niuweidao, (blue) hood, Leather Khergit Boots, Leather Gloves. So really cheap, bad set.

Just tell me, if there is any point of continuing running with this set just to get higher "bonus"? Or I should just forget about it and change to more reasonable set, such as Lamellar Vest etc.?

Is there a way to check if you have it, in case you missed the message?

I am not asking what it does exactly, all I want to know is, can I verify (with 100% satisfaction) that I have it somehow once I get it? Yes/No/Hate_you?

Excel-min-maxing IS the nature of roleplaying games.  Pretty much all of them that have stats and math period.  RPG's were created by geeks, for geeks and mathematical min-maxing/number crunching has always been at the heart and soul of them.

Only for some of the players, and while stats and such were always a part of it, they weren't the original point, but rather a framework that the RP experience was built around. Munchkins came with RPGs, but RPGs weren't created just for munchkins.

You say "try to concentrate the bonus on the same set" Then I would ask, What are the boots that are part of the Churburg Cuirass/Hourglass gauntlets/Hounskull Bascinet set? I've done some research but none of the boots in-game appear to be of the proper set. Also, is that the only helmet of the "set?".

Or am I taking this all wrong and nothing I'm stating here is what you meant by "set"?
