Hmm. I played my char with the same equipment for a whole generation. I leveled him till half of level 31 and i still did not get that message. Either that or i got it when i was alt-tabbed and did not notice. Sad-Sonja is sad.

I can only say that I have a higher than average KD ratio and always take a long time to die (HA perks ), maybe that helps trigger it...

I wasn't paying attention 100% so I don't know if I got the message again or an admin trolling and imitating the message so I'm not sure if I got it again or not. I'm fairly sure I did though.

On the website my balance war spear appears as a tempered war spear... which is similar to what I was sexperiencing when I got the message the first/second time

I do not think this is related to the message. There seems to be a display error for many heirloom polearms that is making outdate modifiers appear. My long awlpike turned into a tempered long awlpike at the second heirloom and was not selectable in game until I spent an additional heirloom point to masterwork it. My twice heirloomed regular awlpike currently shows up as tempered on the website but shows up as balance in game. Another poster started a thread about his bec de corbin showing up as tempered as well.

Don't worry about getting the chadztext while alt-tabbing, you can only get it when you are alive. This is probably the only confirmed thing that we know.

Also I wonder how does it work in the duel server, since many people got it there, because theorically leaving your character sitting there the whole day could get it triggered. Unless of course it happens only when your character is moving/attacking... But then you can just leave the charcter in automove... uhm new frontiers for the leechers

Perhaps you need to be actively engaged in a duel (have pressed "F") for it to have the possibility of triggering?

Maybe, but then you just need to find a buddy and start a duel you won't ever end. This of course assuming that you don't need to do anything special and the triggering is just random

Umm..if you trade something that had this and you buy another version of it back, like..you get this with a balanced longsword, sell it, and then buy a normal longsword, does the new weapon have the boost still?
