Had it three times this generation. Once with bad gear two times while wearing my best gear. ;)
Whatever it is. If its a good thing im a happy man.

Actually i got it two times while doing nothing.
Once as defender on siege while waiting for attackers.
Once on battle while i was dead on the end of the round.

Have gotten it multiple times on my main, and once on two different alts. Was playing for crap most times. My main wound up with a Masterwork War Cleaver in game, out of nowhere, and not on the site, not that I think it has anything to do with it really.

A member of my clan recieved this twice within 2 minutes, he was on the duel server and neither time was he actually in battle, while I recieved it later that evening over two maps.

Nothing special was happening, I jumped off a roof to get away from an enemy, took damage but survived and legged it, basically as soon as I was safe, I got the message (cowardly cowardly Tenne as per normal) and the second time a map later, I shot Cicero in the arse as he was reloading his crossbow. I'm beginning to think this whole thing is just on a random timer or something.

I wonder if it's to encourage more variety in armour customization? Well, it's obvious that it is, but I'm still stroking my fake beard in contemplation about this.

chadz mentioned, he wanted to decrease grinding and increase the creative roleplaying aspect. In my ears, this sounds like the more you wear an armour the more benefits you get. Or a combination of doing well in the battlefield, time spent with that armour and a set of random algorithms.

Whichever, another great add-on for sure.

Got it twice. Once on my lvl 30 glaive spammer when I was getting spam kills like crazy, got it close to end of round with 24:0 kdr.

Other time I got it 5 mins in when I had just jumped to 30 (with skip the fun) and had a kdr of 8:0.

Didn't notice any difference at all.

Also, I bet this post didn't make anyone closer to finding out the secret.

Bere i always wear Khergit Leather Boots. compared to my Heraldic Transitional and the Sallet with Visor (and Coif) the Boots are really low. And I did notice the message only twice.
