1) i asked arrowaine if it was a bug or a stupid mistake and he told me he tried to QML one of his guys. If he could have proved it was a bug then we prob could have worked out something more fair

2) we didnt lose any gear when we lost 1600 troops to an actual bug on the same castle, although they did offer to give us anything we lost back

3) we gave them their raw troops that they had left and gear for a shiny army (albeit not as shiny as it could have been)

4) we let all 5-10 guys most of which were unarmed and naked run away to shariz after the battle so the only thing they lost was the castle itself and some gear, which we have given them enough of already

Also, i for one am tired of fighting in that castle, we did the same strategy for like 5 straight battles now and it gets pretty repetitive after awhile. we shall  continue the war on a different venue, or we welcome any attempt to take it back.

also the strat menu is just completly bug pressed q and probably press s at same time and just make us retreat... kinda bs in my opinion that the retreat from the other battle was still pending... but shit happen!

Actually, you probably had the glitch that happens to me often in battles.

If there's a lot of killing going on, your "Q" menu disappears, but the MENU itself is still saved on what you last left it. So if you hit Q and M but the rest gets drowned out by kills you're still on the Menu screen. If you hit Q again and then R you are now at the "Are you sure you want to Retreat" selection.

It's actually very easy to miss hit the wrong Q menu because of that. I've done shit like that MANY times though never a retreat.

Try to avoid hitting anything beyond Q unless you are WATCHING what you press.

Yeah the q menu sucks in strat battles...I doubt I can even count as high as the number of times i've dropped my weapon trying to whistle for a horse.  But that's cuz of the menu disappearing on me, I don't think I've ever had it "keep open" the previous Q menu that disappeared.

And then you have to hit yes again or r again?  There is a failsafe with retreat option, right?  Not a bug. Don't mess with q menu as commander for ANY reason unless you really want to retreat.

You has to hit S once you get the Are you sure? Yes/no and you hit S for yes.

So yes  there IS an "failsafe" but the Q menu regardless will HANG. try it out in battle one time.

Hit Q and then just no more buttons until it fades, or smash a button NOT on the list. And watch what happens. I know this glitch and it's a problem with the menu. It CAN happen, but I'd say the condition for a unknown retreat are pretty hard to do.

Just think, this many bugs (that have been around forever), the nearly-always failed uploads of patches (talking about how they always fuck something up), and the hidden bugs in Strategus....yet they managed to get $65+ out of a lot of players for this new game.... Devs, Biggest Trolls ever.

actually, a 5 am battle would be a product of every one of your nightime settings if the battles take place after 11pm est. this battle is at 2am tonight which is shit, and yes it is a problem and an honest mistake. AFAIK this particular hoc guy is not very active.

Yeah I told him to change it, that's pretty bad for us as well. I really don't understand why people go full retard mode when it come to night time, it's really not complicated.
