There was 2 big battles.
Bitka on river Marica in 1371 where Serbian army was drunk and they were slayed on sleep,and after that there was large battle in 1389 on Kosovo field where every Serbian male went to fight vs Ottoman empire.
Bouth armies were destroyed in battle,and Emperor Murat was killed and Stefan was killed too. We loosed too much peaople in that battle and we couldn't recover from that loose for few centuries cuz western chatolic countries fucked us because we were ortodox.
Son of Murat Bayasit went to Turkey and lead rest of his army to Turkey to fight for throne and Serbia lived 90 years more after it fell under Ottoman empire.
Some of people went to Austro-Hungarian empire to live and fight vs Ottomans.
Hussars were Serbian light cavalry that would enter villages where Turks where and they would kill them and then return to Vojvodina that was part of AH empire.
Bosnians (Kulin's people) were also Serbs but they converted to islam under Ottoman rulembut Serbs sayed ortodox.

So when Yugoslavia fell appart US,Turks and other chatolic countries supported them to take from us our territory and Albanians destroyed almoust all of monasteries that Nemanjic dynasty that was in good relation withy Byzantines built.
