Well, I don't have anything to compare strat round 4 with, but so far I enjoy it quite a lot.
We're getting a lot of battles recently, Uxkhal is under siege everyday and so on, and with further conquers of anti-UIF we're gonna have tons of fun with these great sieges before UIF falls.

I prefer this much more than a boring cold war, even if we're gonna lose it in the end, who cares.

The two first rows of walls are very long (too hard to man all part of it) and the inner keep isnt very easy to defend (no doors but stakes ) though

Yes of course, but they need a good motivation because getting Praven and Suno will be for them challenge at limits of their capabilities. That's why I'm trying deepen their hatred for us, because hatred is a good motivation. Praven & Suno - it will be a nightmare for them, because after two years of playing, they still don't know how to handle siege equipment (it really doesn't surprise me, because they have always been in defense). Mutual benefit - we have funniest piece of entertainment, and noobs have a chance to learn something new
