And which would be the funner/better build in general?

me and rico were playing eu1 late at night and were amazed by seeing a horsexbower that got (especially) rico all the time. from a horse xbow you would expect that he is always riding around with his xbow, but this guy could headshot us AND suddenly ride in our back and chop rico's head off. we asked what his build was and he said 18/21, i would try it. he was playing in a kuyak with all non-loomed weapons.
this wasnt a trollbuild for sure, this guy knew what he was doing

You can get melee kills with the 7/30 build as well. With a non-loomed nomad sabre I got quite a bit of kills with my HX using the sword, that speed bonus from 10 riding certainly helps out.

However, something like 12 24/27 might be a decent HX build, or even a bit more strength/less agility. Try some different ones with STF before deciding. I've only tried 7/30 so can't really judge the effectiveness of the different builds.

After playing the 7/30 build a few gens on an alt, I'm thinking of doing something like 12/24 and using a slower horse (was on an Arabian before) to account for the 4 v 5 HA skill. To help with that I may go 8 ath 5 riding or 7 ath 6 riding (to be able to use Desert Horse for). My logic behind lower riding is to decrease top speed, which seems to help more for 4 HA accuracy against 5 being able to ride top speed @ 10 riding on an Arabian, and because I want to be able to be more viable on foot as well.
