NWOBHM is the greatest style of metal music. Ever.

Really obscure and people don't know much about it. Lots of bands to find.

Also want to add this Manilla Road album in particular because it's very similar to this style and it's just F'n amazing.

Perfect style of metal. Mid-late 70's to the mid 80's. It has distortion, but it's not glam hair bullshit that happened to the genre and became the standard in about 85' or so.

Also it's not something people know. Sure they know Iron Maiden. But their first album? Nope. They only care about the overrated dickinson stuff. Not seeing unique style of the first album.

PS: Seems like I managed to repost some songs I've already posted here. No problem though, most of those are in album playlists now!

I can't stop listening to this song. It's somehow heavy as fuck... Well the tuning is drop D, but still not as low as people use these days when they make their "heavy" songs. It's a race between extreme metal musicians these days... Who can drop their tuning the most. Fuck, shove that guitar up your ass and play 6 string base. Then take another one, tune it an octave lower and hand it over to your base player
