Too much fountain hooking, I was actually hoping they get punished for doing that shit all the time, but I guess while they were messing around with that XBOCT got a lot of farm and then he came to fight and was just gg

I'm a bit unsure about this tactic. It feels terribly close to being an utterly broken mechanic. Hilarious of course, and requires good timing. But I just think it's out of place in a pro game.

TongFu wouldnt have won though, it was a legit tactic.. as legit as Alliance is split pushing, as legit as Kotl + pl, or a 100 min game by DK.
Of course it shouldnt be played everyone map, would become really boring and I'd say not everyone would be able to handle this.

EU dota > asian teams. It's also mostly boring to watch asians play plus there are 9 of 16 teams who are asian, and only 2 NA teams... would find it fair if its 1/3 of each, 5 EU, 5 NA, 5 Asian teams + 1 wildcard =)

I know they wouldn't of. Just something makes me cringe when I see things like this used in pro-games. More ironic because Puppey and a couple others have complained in the past about certain mechanics being broken in dota.

O the other thing I don't like about TI3. The lower bracket set up. Looking at the next match line ups, either Na'Vi or Alliance lose and go into the lower bracket, where, in all likely hood either one of them will win the lower bracket and guess what the final will be. Na'Vi vs Alliance. Seems all to predictable at the moment and to me that is very boring.

It's not really an exploit/broken mechanic when the creators of the game have decided to keep it.

They did but reportedly to popular demand because the community liked it way back. Which is a bit daft considering they've removed so many others.

Even Puppey says it's a bug. But he justifies it by saying that half the things pros use in games are bugged.

But that's flat out hypocritical when they change a lot of other things because they are 'exploits'. I'm simply arguing that saying this is a mechanic which is anything but broken is a bit daft. It obviously is. Just because it's 'hilarious' to watch doesn't change the fact and that's the only reason the devs left it.

And no I don't agree that just because they are devs what they say is correct especially when the reasoning for it is utterly flawed.

Not particularly raging. I just find it a bit off to see a team using something like that. I suppose it's not their fault, especially with $1 million at stake but then the blame goes on the devs. It's almost like a football team winning because of a ghost goal. There's something that just takes away the satisfaction and makes it a bit cheap.

Holy shit after several days of not pubbing I went solo queue...

First game Silencer in safe lane tells me to stop stealing his last hits... I was Phantom Lancer.
Second game we have KotL going dangerous lane with QoP while leaving AM on safe lane alone to be harrased the entire time by a Silencer and Jakiro. Stays silent while we tell him to go help AM several times.
Third game ruskies speaking in hieroglyphs, 2 on my team abandon game after like 5 minutes.

W/L ratio dropped back almost to 50%, was at 51,5% or so.

The Chen + Pudge thing isn't that broken, because it takes good timing and the pudge needs to atleast get the hook. Me and Gravoth played a game today and two guys picked Chen and Pudge and kept trying to do it and it was pretty sad how many times they missed it, one time Chen sent back Pudge after the hook and while Pudge was using his ulti on the guy he hooked.


It did seem quite unfair when they fountain hooked the guy with Aegis though...


PS: Chinese doto is so fucking boring.

I've seen people from my team unpausing a few times even though it was our teammate that was afk/paused, which resulted in the enemy getting a free kill. Just what are some thinking. Why even unpause if its your team that needs the pause
