Just played a game with Abaddon. Had no idea what the fuck I was doing but fortunately no one else also knew what the fuck I was doing. That ulti heal is nuts. Zeus ulti=heal. Axe locking me into a fight = heal. Rubick trying to kill me with stolen nukes = heal.

Was awesome. His skills tail off quite early though. That shield is nice, and the 200 damage area can be noticeable but much less so mid-late. His passive is probably the main selling point for me. All you have to do is hit a nearby creep and then watch as your allies get a speed boost towards an enemy. And because you also get that boost you can then continually hit the enemy to slow them down. First skill is also awesome for finishing off low health enemies as it has a long range.

Played around with Abaddon last night, he got a really nice feel to him. Maybe I'll just try going dps build on him late game, rather than full mek / vlad / pipe support

I played a game with Thovex going Abaddon. He pwned with him.

I then played I think 4 games where the enemy got Abaddon and everytime they were so shit with him it was funny, using his ulti when they are full health or early in fights. It's so funny when someone with a long range hit like Windrunners Powershot starts his ulti when no one is even close to attack him.

Pff, Phantom lancer is the best fountain diver by far. Abaddon is good though.

People were so clueless when playing him and what to do against him haha.

Did dota2 devs ever say if there is going to be anything in regards to official ladders/player ranking/visible skill brackets?

Main thing I don't like with Abaddon atm is no one has any idea how the fuck to play him. Every time I see him he's doing something completely different. Sometimes support, sometimes semi carry, sometimes hard carry, sometimes jungler with a whole variety of builds. Sometimes he's been utter shit (typically the hard carry/jungler builds), sometimes he's been awesome (usually semi-carry) and sometimes just kind of there (support). But it makes him so unpredictable lol.

Lina ult at Abaddon 500 health  Did that against him today as Lina. Broke his shield with 1st skill then ulti him.

Abaddon is quite a versatile hero imo. He is best as a support because he isn't very item dependant, also his shield is great for saving the carry in a lane.

I've still only seen like 2 people play Abaddon well, and all other games people flop with him.
